Why is a Personal Trainer better for you?

​Too often people join a gym and after a relatively short time reduce how often they use the gym or stop going to the gym.
The most likely reasons for this are:
  • Injury.
One can get injured lifting too much weight at the gym, doing the technique incorrectly or an existing injury may get worse at the gym.
  • Lack of progress/ results.
Sometimes the person don’t see any change in strength, fitness level or health from going to the gym and so give up.
  • Self conscious.
Some people are intimidated by the gym environment. They may feel inadequate compared to other gym users or may think other people are looking at them.
  • Improper technique.
It may often be as simple as the person is not sure of the right way to do an exercise, they don’t know how to use the gym equipment properly, or how much weight to use.
  • No support.
There is nobody at the gym to encourage you, or show you how to do the technique or exercise correctly. There is nobody to reinforce what you are doing right, or to highlight what improvements you need to make.

The gym feels impersonal. Most people are doing their own thing and there is very little interaction.
